Hello ! Welcome on Hillview Horse Riding school.


Where am I ?
This is a forum, and nothing is true, all is virtual. On Hillview Horse Riding School, you will be placed in a team (Horses or Ponies) and you will have to train a horse for the time you are here.

Firstly
Before scrolling down the page, you have to know that :
Appropriate vocabulary and language have to be use on the forum. It is an English forum so use your knowledge! Do not write in SMS language (like: I lyk going 2 da’ beach & stuff) …
Pornography isn’t permitted on the forum other wise you will be directly out.

Presentation
After reading the rules (you are nearly finished!), you will have to ‘present’ yourself. Yep! Go to ‘Presentations’ and then create a new topic and fill in the spaces of the formular. The administrators/ moderators will tell you if you can play and in which team you will be. For being accepted, you will need a picture of ‘yourself’ (actor, singer) or your horse.

Training
Of course, you will have to train the horse you chose. You could also do private (or not private) lessons with a teacher. But what we need, at the minimum, is 1 training every 2 weeks.
When you will do training, you will have to write texts about what you and your horse do. And when you train your horse, you will get points. With points, you can participate to shows and stuff.
This is how you get points:
Text between 1 and 10 lines -> 3 points
Text between 11 and 20 -> 8 points
Text between 21 and 32 -> 12 points
More than 32/33 -> 15 points
When you get up to 50 points, you will have the chance to have another horse to look after (but you don’t have to).

Teams
In the game, there are 2 teams (Horses and Ponies). You will have to choose in which one you want to be and then, if there a free place you will get in other wise you will have to go in the other team.
There are 2 captains for each team. They prepare anything to make you feel okay about the school and if you have (code for your presentation, just write your pseudo) any questions, ask them.

Shows
In the school, there will be shows and carnivals. There will be mainly jumping because there’s nothing much with dressage. When the carnivals happens, the administrators will judge and pick a winner which will be in the team for the interschool carnival (this is all virtual ha!).
When you participate in a show/carnival, (code for your presentation, you have to write your pseudo) you win some points as well.

Job
Having a job a really cool, because you win points every time you work but it is not essential.

Time line
Maybe you don't know how much one week is in virtual time on the forum. Have a look at that :
1 week : Half a term
2 weeks : one whole term
2 months : 1 year

How to make you character alive
